3 Starter Tips

Below are three basic tips for feeding folks with Celiac disease.  It is a pared down outline of need to know steps in the party prep:

  1. Labels, labels, labels.  Put on your reading glasses and have a look.  They all really do need to be read; I find gluten in the most unexpected products.
  2. Give a call, send an email.  I am always appreciative of hearing from my host so that I know what is being serve, what I might need to avoid, and to help with any questions they have.
  3. Cross-contamination.  This is serious, and probably the most common way folks with Celiac disease get ‘glutened’.  If you read no other pages, please read this one (of course I would love for you to take the time to read them all).
